Mostly sunny skies, calm winds, and three dudes. @40tribes and Ryan Koupal snapped this one yesterday from a circumnavigation tour just west of the continental divide. The snowpack was a bit thinner than I expected and lies lighter than the summit and vail zones. But we hunted out the soft snow and enjoyed what was there. Feels great to take a break from the pedaling and get the ski legs walking. We kept things rolling in the parking lot watching a team of ropers airing a kicker to rocks. The cooler of beers helped keep our enthusiasm stoked and positive.
